☢️Over the past 48 hours, the situation on Germany's eastern border has deteriorated rapidly. RED forces launched a rapid offensive, occupying key border areas and strengthening their positions.
NATO reconnaissance indicates an intensive expansion of military infrastructure in the operational area. The enemy is preparing for a further offensive deep into the territory, using the captured positions as a springboard for further operations.
☢️Civilian infrastructure has been partially evacuated, and the region is considered an active combat zone. Political pressure is mounting—losing control of this area could lead to a larger-scale escalation of the conflict.
NATO Command has decided to immediately react and launch an operation aimed at detaining the enemy and regaining the initiative in the region.
🚨All groups operating in the KILLBOX-2, DEAD-1, and DEAD-2 areas are required to conduct opportunistic reconnaissance. If enemy units are detected outside the current targets, their position should be noted (MGRS) and forwarded to HQ for elimination in the next mission.
RED forces maintain a strong presence in the operational area and actively counter NATO operations. The enemy utilizes both air and ground assets to maintain control of the captured area.
Regular fighter patrols are observed in the airspace, responding to any attempt to breach the operational zone. Their actions are coordinated and aimed at quickly intercepting targets.
On the ground, the enemy has secured its positions with extensive anti-aircraft defenses, creating a zone that hinders the free operation of aircraft. These systems cover key avenues of approach and ensure the protection of strategic points.
Additionally, RED ground units operate in the area, which can fire on low-flying aircraft and disrupt close support operations.
The enemy is organized, prepared, and capable of quickly responding to emerging threats. The air defense system includes:
SA-10 – long-range systems, providing coverage for the entire area of operations
SA-11 – medium-range systems, protecting key approach directions
SA-6 – mobile units deployed closer to the front line
This defense is supplemented by short-range systems:
- ZSU-23-4 Shilka – self-propelled artillery systems capable of engaging low-altitude targets
- MANPADS – portable missile launchers
The enemy is conducting active fighter patrols in airspace:
- MiG-23
- MiG-29
- Su-27
- K-50
Additionally, the enemy is using attack aircraft:
- Su-25 – providing support for ground forces and attacking ground targets and low-flying aircraft
🔵As part of Operation Iron Border, NATO forces are launching the first phase of the operation, aimed at weakening enemy defense capabilities in the border region.
🔵The main task is to conduct a coordinated strike on RED positions, limit their air defense capabilities, and support the operations of ground forces operating along the border.
🔵Simultaneously, operations will be conducted to maintain control of the airspace in the operational area and intercept enemy air activity.
🔵Direct air support will be provided by specialized CAS units, operating in close coordination with ground forces.
🔵The success of this phase of the operation is crucial for further operations and will enable the development of subsequent stages of the NATO offensive.
